So I read some blogs, read some news headlines, and watch some you-tube interviews. Something just occured to me, there are a lot of people who look alike in the Christian world and they do similar things. Check out some of these church pastors that have growing churches and its funny how they all seem to try and be really hip while changing hair styles and clothes.
So it leads me to the odd question, is t possible that there is something that we may be missing in our culture? Here is the description of Jesus that the Bible gives.
Who has believed what he has heard from us?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
For he grew up before him like a young plant,
and like a root out of dry ground;
he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,
and no beauty that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;
and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Seems a little opposite the look some of the “new generation pastors and churches” are going for, Just a thought!

Dang it I keep writing 2009 on everything, maybe because I did not want to leave the glory of 2009 and all the great things that happened.
Ok so that’s a lie or at least not the truth. Today’s journal entry – nothing but can this actually post to the blog from MacJournal??
Oh and I am really excited about week 14 baby doctor visit tomorrow. Stacy is thinking about maternity clothes and to make her feel better I have begun eating twice as much in hopes to actually have a bigger belly then her.

So I finally get that gut feeling that something is wrong! I realize that the feeling is coming from neglect.
So this is my new years restitution to the old blog!
1. I promise to visit you at least once a week.
2. I will not let you go without out a post for more than 30 days – that’s still border line abuse.
3. I will use you as I would my own private diary with all my feelings. Ok maybe that is too much.
With that being said if I fail to keep you up to date I will do the right thing an delete you from cyberspace so you are not floating around with a million other forgotten blogs!!

First of all wool itches and when I have had itchy eyes it has not been pleasant so I would fight that with all I had! I also find it very interesting that the origin of the phrase seemed to have come from the wool wigs that the politicians wore in the 1800’s. The people thought that they were pulling the wigs (wool) down over their eyes!
Which again the government is talking about how great of a month we have had, home sales are up, the economy is up! I guess I should just let them pull the wool over my eyes and forget the fact that they just gave out $4500 to a lot of people who actually never saw it, essentially the government just put 3 billion back into the economy not counting the loans for all those cars… Really we had a good month and it looks like we will pull through!
Oh well I guess positive news is what we need – on a negative side unemployment has risen again this past month and the economy went up? Other good news is a guy a know held a really expensive dinner to pay for an Africa trip to feed starving children – right I know makes the same sense. Just cover your eyes and begin to scratch!

Ok so I know that this goes against most peoples rules! I am standing to fight for college students everywhere about the rules of having to go to class! This is a classic example of too much power in the hands of professors.
Now I have paid money for lots of different things in my life!
- groceries
- lawnmower
- books
- house
- car
- dog
- dog
Now when I pay for these things out of my hard earned money I get to choose what I want to do with them. If i wanted to park my car in my house and let my dog sleep in it I could! If I want my dog to put my groceries away for me I can (now where he puts them may not be where I want)
I guess maybe I missed the point somewhere along the way, but when college students pay money for college they do not get to choose what they do with the class, they have to show up! If they do not show up some professor who has too much power says I am in charge with your money and I get to make the decisions for you!
So I suggest that all of us picket college classes saying “LET STUDENTS SKIP CLASSES – LET STUDENTS SKIP CLASSES” Who is with me!!
